Description of Clip: Turquoise
You know that quote about birds? How birds have the ability to go and fly anywhere they want and how humans have the same potential to reach whatever their dream is. Well there are birds out there in life that don't have that same freedom. They are caged in by whatever it is that holds them there. Whether it is fear, regret, or guilt. They're a slave to it. Therefore, they are caged within themselves. Often their mind is what holds those bars in place. I believe the same goes for those who can't see the bars or refuse to believe their ignorance. The only difference is the ignorant birds have not realized that they're caged in what they see as "reality." They often neglect everyone else's problems and refuse to believe that what they live in is not reality. While those who are caged in have the intellect to realize that the world isn't how they taught you in elementary school. You can't just wish for things to happen and sit there and wait for a happy ending. In fact, it will probably make things worse. I'm sorry if it sounds like I'm bitter but I'm not. I've just been caged in way too long by my fears and guilt. Sure I sing from time to time but I miss what it feels like to fly. I believe that in order to fly you must first be caged in. You must first realize what it's like to live. You must learn what the reality of life actually is. You must discover your true self and purpose instead of blending in with the background. This often, however, makes people afraid and soon enough they build bars of their own. It'll be scary but I promise you once you realize what your bars are that hold you back, it'll be just as easy to tear them down. Only then are you able to fly as high as you want and realize your true potential.
