STORY #47

Name: HarleeRay Bicknell
Description: Red, star
This is the story of some Paperclips. My first clip was Purple. That's my favorite color. I was very determined to keep it constantly. That failed. My first clip was holding out strong for me. It was on at every marching band contest. It felt the way I put my heart and soul in my performances. It was then on November 3, 2012, when I walked off the field at State. For every hug and every tear. That's not all that clip went through. It went through my Baptism. It was there as I was dipped in the water and as I found my new life in Christ. The clip was there every time I felt loved, or every time I felt depressed. Until one tragic day, there was a catastrophe when I, upon walking outside with ice cream, I realized I locked my keys in my car. My paperclip served me well. I managed to pick the back lock, at the expense of my clip. He was lost, in the lock. So from there I got a new one! One that Megan so expertly perfected for me! And of course I lost it. That's just because I'm HarleeRay. So I got a new one. This I kept easily. I did some odd things thanks to my paperclip, such as using paperclips as bobby pins. I've enjoyed the company of my paper clip(s). Life has been quite the ride this year. I'm glad my clips were there to remember it, even when I don't.
I now promptly present the paperclip that shares my story.
