Today in Sunday School we discussed three main points of wisdom:
-Appreciation (1 Kings 3:5, 6)
-Asking (1 Kings 3:7-9)
-Adherence (1 Kings 3:10-15; 11:4-6)

In the Bible, Solomon was the poster child for wisdom. He asked God to provide him with the wisdom to make good choices. God was pleased with his request, so he granted this desire. Because God was glad that he had not asked for wealth or a long life, he decided to bless Solomon with these things anyway.
