Andrea and Megan used this standard silver paper clip in attempts to fix a jammed stapler.  Their attempts were futile, so they gave up and decided to add the clip to the chain instead.  As far as we know, the stapler is still jammed to this day.

Other: From Rita's Sunday school class project.

This paperclip is in the shape of an angel.  Megan Diekhoff made it during Rita Clem's Sunday school class at Bethel General Baptist Church. This guardian angel is the first paperclip on the chain for two reasons: It was created before any other clip on the chain and it will "watch over" all the STORYclips to come.
